Christmas 2010

This Christmas seemed like a whirlwind because of our plans before and after, but it was one of the best I can remember.  Why?  Many reasons I think...we weren't as focused on gifts because we limited ourselves due to our upcoming Disneyworld trip...we didn't get too wrapped up in the pre-holiday decorating, etc... because we just didn't have the time...and we spent it with family, not just our little 3 person family, but our parents.

It's funny, usually T is the joyful-to-the-point-of-annoying holiday person in our home, this year it was me.  We finally realized on our way to Nana and Pop's that it was because I was going to be able to spend the actual Christmas Eve and Day with our parents.  Don't get me wrong, I love our small family Christmas Eve's and mornings, but there is something special about being with family.  I guess because I grew up that way, we always had (and still have) a large family Christmas celebration with my dad's family (uncles, aunts, cousins, etc...) and I loved loved loved seeing J playing with cousins during the actual holiday.  Brought back so many memories for me and we made wonderful new ones this year.

So, here are a few pics from our weekend!
