Ok...so I'm still 2 weeks behind (this layout is from Feb. 23-Mar 1), slowly but surely I'll get the other 2 done...hopefully tonight and tomorrow! Dad's chemo yesterday went well, we won't know for another day or two if he will get sick, how sick, etc... This was the last one, yea!! Then we nervously await the scan results. Please pray for my sis-in-law L also, she found out 2 days ago that the baby (which should be at 8 weeks gestation) is still at 6 weeks size and they didn't hear a heartbeat. They are giving her until Tuesday, checking her levels, before they do a DNC. My other sis-in-law C is home from the hospital (major back surgery on Monday) and doing as expected. She is in pain, but the doc says the surgery and progress are going just as planned. So...today I have 3 people for you to lift up in prayer!!

Day 1
J’s second tooth to lose in 2 weeks! This one he lost at school, just decided to push it out with his tongue while sitting in class.

Day 2
Our boy became a Bear!! The annual Blue & Gold Banquet was tonight and our 6 Bear scouts earned their ranks...all 6 of them! This was a great achievement and we are very proud. On to Webelos next!

Day 3
I love cardinals and we are fortunate to have a plethora of them in our yard every year. It was an overcast day and although I couldn’t get one to get close, a few of the males were hanging out in a tree in the backyard.

Day 4
Self-portrait. While J was in the tub, I decided to play with the flash and settings on our camera for a few minutes in the mirror. Fun effect but I obviously need to learn more about my camera to get it just right!

Day 5
We were blessed to go on a weekend trip with Texas Outdoor C.H.I.L.D., a group that takes children with disabilities and terminal illnesses on hunting trips. J had a blast and shot his first animal right off the bat!
Day 6
Day two of the hunting trip. We were driven around the ranch looking for animals and saw quite a few different species. J, of course was happy enough with Hunter, the beagle!
Day 7
I couldn’t resist...we caught the buffalo right behind our cabin on Sunday and just as we were about to stop taking pictures...one stopped for a bathroom break. J thought this was hilarious!
