The Force has arrived...

Well, after years of my hubby wishing and hoping...J has FINALLY become a Star Wars fan. It only took 11 years. Boba Fett has now replaced Green Goblin...well, not completely replaced, ofcourse, b/c who can really replace the fabulous Green Goblin?I am admittedly not a big Star Wars fan. Yes, I've seen the movies, but it's just not my thing, I'm more of a Gone with the Wind kind of girl (had a poster of Clark Gable in my room for years growing up...yea...). So needless to say, I am now way over my limit of Jedi forces, or whatever you call them ;~)

A couple of weeks ago, J and T headed to NASA for a scout field trip. They had a blast, camping out in the space center, touring the next day, hands on learning experiences...but best of all? They found out something to do with Star Wars will be arriving during the summer...guess where we'll be going this summer?

I love this one above...holding the rocket up :)

So you wanna know what J wants to be for Halloween already this year? Boba Fett..."but Mom, not Jango Fett, although he's cool, but I think Boba would be much cooler, but Jango is pretty awesome...". Did they ever even MAKE a Boba Fett costume?

You wanna guess what his b-day party theme will be (which is still 8 months away)? Star Wars..."but Mom, I'll probably want you to put several characters on the cake, not just Boba Fett". And I was worried he'd pick something hard for me to make this year...

My headache is now gone (finally) so I am eating my left-overs hoping that the stupid headache won't come back.

Anyway, I know you knit. Do you also crochet? Because J might think this will be cool - although not Boba Fett. Then again it might open up a whole new can of worms where he wants each of the characters crocheted. Kids can be so unreasonable sometimes.
