While J was away...Part 2!

Nothing very exciting happened on Wednesday, it was more of chill out and rest day. Except that I found J's next math curriculum (normally retails for around $60) for TEN DOLLARS! That was awesome. 

On to Thursday...we finally hit the river with my brother and my nieces. We had a blast!

And since SP was having a hard time napping all week, I tended to drive around the hills.  Imagine my surprise when I drove past this sucker!  That night we spent hanging out with Sarah (that coming up in another post!).

On Friday, we visited a bit more, drove around for nap times (none of which lasted long, poor SP was a mess by 7pm that night) and I found the second best deal of the week...two TCU shirts for 50cents!  There are some great thrift stores there ;-)


After dinner at Taco Casa (it's a Texas thang) with Amber and my sis-in-law and niece, we headed to pick up J at camp!!!  We were so excited to watch the awards and see him :-)  

This sweet girl was one of my campers back in the day...yes, I'm that old.

  

Before leaving town on Saturday we were able to give my other niece Kam her birthday present early :-)  This picture is actually of Grandma's gift to her but it's just so cute I had to use it. 

Oh yea...and this pic is one of Grandma's gifts too...can you tell the poor boy has 2 sisters?  Ha!  He thought he was so funny, it was cracking us up!

So that was our trip.  We were all tired, but so blessed.  By camp, by family, by old friends and by new friends.  It was a wonderful week.
