Black Buck

That sounds like a great Western outlaw name, doesn't it? Mr. Larry, one of our incredible hunt guides, drove up on Friday to bring J his black buck mount from his hunt in February. It looks amazing! Mr. Robert, not only a fun hunt guide for kids with disabilities, but also a fantastic taxidermist, prepared it for him. They are also getting the hide tanned so he can hang that in his room. T is trying to talk him into letting us hang the mount in the front room but J wants it in his room.

yea...he's picking it's nose...surely you are NOT surprised!

It has such a pretty coloring - the dark against the white. And those horns/antlers look so cool, how they twist.

I don't think I have ever really seen one (or even a mounted head).
