Just needed to pass on that Dad will be receiving 2 blood transfusions today, one after each radiation treatment. IWhile his temperature finally went back down today (they think the high temp was due to pneumonia), his white cell count and all are too low again. Mom sounds wired and exhausted, thankfully my brother is there to give mom some time off (if she takes it) b/c as of this morning, I officially have a small virus and can't be around Dad right now. He has 4 radiations left (one this afternoon, 2 on Monday and 1 on Tuesday). The oncologist feels that most of this is due to the chemo he had last time. He will most likely be in the hospital for several more days.
I feel so repetitive having to keep asking for prayer, but I know God wants to hear from us on all matters. I owe all of you some major prayers on your behalf :)
I will try to post an update tonight or tomorrow once we know how the transfusions have worked.

Heather, I did not know your dad has cancer. What type? I will be praying for you all. Please, I and my parents live so close, let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you. I would like to take a meal by or help with errands - truly anything I can do to help! You are in my thoughts and my prayers. Let me know how he is doing.
