Expressions Challenge!

Good Tuesday morning to you all :) How did your challenge go last week? You were to send out a birthday greeting to someone...and this time I "allowed" e-cards (although no one has sent me a good e-card site that is free...I can't seem to find one that doesn't want me to sign up for service!). I sent out, let's see...7 birthday cards...2 for Dad, 2 for Mom, 2 for my brother and 1 for my sweet niece. I have purchased a few others for later in the month, let's hope I remember to send them!

This week I have a not so fun challenge for you. Because of some prompting from the Holy Spirit lately (see the previous post "He is Jealous for me")...I have been having to face up to one of my very well-deserving friends (by that I mean...well-deserving of my apology!) and apologize for pushing my convictions on them. I needed to write and call and explain just how sorry I was for doing this to them, whether they knew I had or not. I knew God wanted me to straighten things out, He needed me to do this...to save a relationship I know is still there, if I would just get out of His way!

So, your challenge for this week (and I hope you come back after this one!) is to write a letter or note to someone you have wronged, someone you have judged or been rude to or just harbored ill feelings towards which caused your actions around them to be not so honorable. You might need to spend a little time thinking on this, asking God for guidance to the right person. It might be someone you have avoided for several years or it could be someone you wronged just yesterday. Either way, write them a note, apologize for your actions and behaviors and ask their forgiveness. Then let God guide the way for the relationship to move on from there.
