Expressions Challenge #3

It's Valentine's week!! How did your challenge go last week? I have enjoyed receiving messages from friends telling me who they sent things to. AD, (the inspiration for this Challenge), went above and beyond the 1st Challenge and sent 15 Thank you notes for her challenge! Last week my friend Mville sent a card to her Dad for Challenge 2 :) TXHeather, you WILL be able to count that card for your DD but give me a few weeks to get a challenge for it!!

Last week, you were to send a card to a man in your life...your husband, brother, father, son, friend, uncle, boyfriend, etc... A card that helped you express how much they mean to you. I sent one to my husband. I love my man so much, he puts up with ALOT! Just ask any of our family members and they will agree with that statement. He is amazing and for some reason, expressing that verbally to him on a daily basis does not happen as easily for me as it does for him. I'm more of a written/music person when expressing my feelings (READ HERE). So I found a card that is close to perfect with it's wording already and added a few sentiments of my own. Have I mentioned again how much I love T and how blessed I am that he loves me? (Ok...so he does annoy me occasionally, he's not perfect, but he's one heck of a husband and father!)

Ready for Assignment #3? Send a Valentine card (hand-made or store-bought) to someone in the hospital, a nursing home or someone who is home-bound due to illness. Someone who just needs that little extra "I'm thinking of you this week" pick-me-up. It can be a friend, family member, neighbor...if you don't know of anyone, e-mail me and I'll help you out, or call your church...they always have a good updated list of who is needing prayer right now. I will allow an e-mail card on this one (especially for you overseas friends!) but just make sure you send one and add a personal message to it.

Ok...on your mark, get set...WRITE!
