Keepin' 'em warm

Well, my Family Favorites Friday story is just now finding it's way onto the blog...just 2 days late :~) It's a short one anyway. And just to remind you of why it's hard for me to post funny stories, as I am typing, J and cousin N are searching youtube for "tooting" dog videos. Yea, you read that right. You should hear the giggles. This is what I am surrounded by daily being in a home with 2 boys...and when N comes to visit it only gets worse, lol!

So my quick story...last week, when it was really cold outside, I believe it was Tuesday, T met us at J's Blue & Gold Banquet. (pictures below for that!). He got J out of the car and J kissed him on the cheek. Sweet right? Wait...T was surprised by a second kiss on the cheek, very out of the ordinary on just a regular cold night. This kiss wasn't as quick as the first. Finally, after several seconds, T asked J "why am I getting this second kiss on the cheek?" J moved his face away and said, "that wasn't a kiss, Dad, I'm warming my lips!". Yea, smart kid, huh? ;)

Here are some pics from the Blue & Gold Banquet. Our boy received his Webelo Badge! Just one more year until Boy Scouts...time has passed so quickly. Just seems like yesterday we joined up as Tigers and had no clue what to do!

Please keep praying also for Tim (he is doing well with rehab currently), Macy (is home and recouperating) and my friend Christi...I just saw a post on Facebook that her Dad had a stroke last night because the cancer has spread to his brain.
